This buyout is a total conflict of interest. I have Dish Network and most of my neighbors do too (or DirectTV).

With Comcast controlling NBC, how long will it take for them to up the pricing to Dish and DirectTV, which will ultimately up the consumer’s pricing? Last time one of the networks (ABC I think) wanted to up the cost to Dish by $.03 per household, Dish held out and the consumer didn’t receive ABC for a month or so.

I think this should be scrutinized a bit before it’s “ok’d”.
